Hold the snap lock in the open position and bring the collar around the dog’s neck and connect the snap lock to chain between the two yellow washers. One of the washers has a thumb screw which enables it to moved up and down on the chain. Adjust the movable washer so there are about 2”” between the washers when the red spokes are touching the neck, but not applying pressure to the neck. This will give you a “landing area” for the snap lock connection.
